Forget Me Not – The Full Album Is Here

After a year of revealing stories, blooming melodies, and symbolic releases, Forget Me Not, the full album by composer and pianist Maria Karakusheva, is now officially released.

This is more than an album. Forget Me Not is a journey through an inner landscape, where each piece is a flower with its own meaning and its own season. From the quiet resilience of The Wild Iris, through the graceful longing of Magnolia, the fierce depth of Dahlia, to the luminous stillness of The Serene Lotus, the album invites listeners to walk through an emotional garden: fragile, cinematic, and utterly alive.

Now, for the first time, the complete path can be heard as it was meant to be — not as isolated blooms, but as a single, evolving story. Between the four flower-themed pieces are three interludes: Earth, Air, and Sun. These are delicate musical moments that reflect the natural forces that carry us from one phase of life to another. They were first hinted at in Maria’s poem The Wild Iris, where transformation begins not with noise, but with listening.

The earth,
once heavy upon me
was now soft and warm.
The air
touched me gently,
filled with promise.
The sun
kissed me…

These three elements now exist in music, guiding the listener through the spaces between. They are not pauses; they are part of the bloom.

The album was premiered live in Amsterdam during an intimate concert that brought together music, poetry, and visuals. Set in the heart of the city Maria now calls home, the performance marked the first time the full story of Forget Me Not was shared with an audience from beginning to end. It was a night filled with silence, breath, and blossoms.

In addition to its digital release, Forget Me Not is also available in a limited-edition collector’s vinyl and art book. This unique edition includes the full album on record, alongside a beautifully crafted book featuring original texts, poetic reflections, visuals, and the music scores of each piece. It is both a listening experience and an intimate artifact — a garden you can hold in your hands.

Forget Me Not is now available on all streaming platforms. It is a love letter to becoming, to remembering who we are underneath the noise, and to the quiet power that carries us forward.
