Maria Karakusheva presented her latest single NINE and the video for it, inspired by her experience into motherhood.

aria is a contemporary classical pianist and music composer. She discovered her passion for the piano at the age of 5, initiating a remarkable journey that saw her winning first prize at the International Competition for Young Pianists UFAM in France at just 9 years old followed by many others and graduating with honors from the National Academy of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Maria is a contemporary classical pianist and music composer. She discovered her passion for the piano at the age of 5, initiating a remarkable journey that saw her winning first prize at the International Competition for Young Pianists UFAM in France at just 9 years old followed by many others and graduating with honors from the National Academy of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria.
She lives in Amsterdam and Paris, composing and performing original and distinctive audio-visual projects.
With a master’s degree in Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music, Boston, Maria works with brands such as Samsung, Nissan, Forbes, ING, Mastercard, Yamaha and Film Directors for original soundtracks. She was nominated for Best Composer of Feature Film 2023 by the Bulgarian Film Academy. She won the award for Best Score for the film Time of Insurrection at the international film festival Cortos Valdealgorfa (2024).
